Curl Type Guide

Hair Textures

Each individual inherits a unique hair texture at birth, which might undergo transformations throughout life. The degree of curl, wave, or absence thereof, is determined by the quantity of disulfide bonds within the hair proteins located in the hair shaft. More bonds result in curlier hair, while fewer bonds lead to straighter strands.

The Formation of Curls

Hair consists mainly of keratin, a protein that originates from the follicle and is synthesized within the cells of the hair follicle. All proteins become integral components of the hair shaft and include sulfur atoms. When two sulfur atoms unite to form a disulfide bond, the protein bends. If sulfur atoms within the same protein are sufficiently distant and bond to form a disulfide bond, the protein will bend, resulting in the formation of curls.

Amazing Quality and Volume!

I’m absolutely loving the Raw Vietnamese Straight 3 Bundle! The hair is super soft, silky, and has a natural shine. The bundles are thick from root to tip. It blends perfectly with my natural hair and stays straight all day without much effort. These are really great long-lasting hair extensions!
